SFP-GIG-T Overview
SFP-GIG-T is the typical part number of Alcatel-Lucent 1000Base-T SFP RJ45 transceiver. It also stands for Alcatel-Lucent SFP-GIG-T compatible copper SFP transceiver that used by many other third-party optical transceiver vendors or sellers. The SFP-GIG-T is designed for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over Cat5e copper wire and supports data transfer with a max distance of 100m? (328 ft) over Cat5e cable.
